Title: Team Member Infrastructure Maintenance, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $63268.37 to $73528.14 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity:
The role of the Infrastructure Maintenance Team Member is to undertake planned and reactive maintenance for Open Space Infrastructure to ensure Northern Beaches Council Assets are maintained to the highest standards. We are looking for someone with a landscape construction or construction background that shows aptitude to solve problems and undertake a variety of tasks. A team player capable of working across a variety of parks and reserves teams.
The key focus areas of this role include:
- Undertake works of a parks reserve and landscape construction-based nature
- Undertake maintenance of Open Space Infrastructure Assets safely and efficiently to approved service levels
- Identify priorities to deliver effective maintenance programs on time
- Maintain WHS&E standards ensuring compliance against relevant Statutory Regulations
- Encourage and support a positive Team Culture
- Communicate effectively with our customers to efficiently resolve requests and contribute to a positive customer experience.
About you:
What you will bring to our team:
- Relevant TAFE qualification or significant relevant experience, with practical experience working in landscaping/construction industry or similar field.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of service delivery requirements in parks, sports- fields and foreshore areas or similar environment.
- Ability to use computer-based systems
- AQF 3 – Chemical certification or willing to obtain within three months
- Chainsaw Competency Certification or willing to obtain within three months
- Class C (minimum) NSW Drivers licence with a willingness to obtain LR/MR
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision together with a commitment to working in a team environment and multi-skilling.
- Well organised and good level of physical ability to carry out all the duties of the role safely
- Strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety
- Skills and knowledge in a range of minor plant and equipment
- Demonstrated skills & experience in manual handling
- General Worksite Induction Ticket.
