Title: Principal / Senior Planner, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $113678.04 to $132113.24 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)
Full Private Use Vehicle on offer for successful applicant.

Key responsibilities:

The key focus areas of this role include: 

  1. The ability to manage a number of complex developments simultaneously, and deliver timely, accurate and high quality assessments of development applications
  2. Representing Council in the NSW Land and Environment Court and at planning panels (Northern Beaches Local Planning Panel and Sydney North Planning Panel)
  3. Coaching and mentoring of planners as well as assisting the Manager with the day-to-day operation of the team
  4. Undertake a proactive role in the continuous improvement of systems, processes and tools used in the assessment of development applications
