Title: Landscape Construction Supervisor, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $92604.95 to $107622.32 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)
This role includes a take home Council vehicle to use specifically for work purposes only

Our opportunity:
The position of Landscape Construction Supervisor manages a team maintaining and enhancing council parks, gardens, and landscaped areas, through a wide variety of Landscape construction practices to ensure our Open Spaces are attractive, functional and safe for the community.
The key focus areas of this role include:
• Supervise and lead a Team engaging in all aspects of Landscape Construction projects.
• Efficiently Schedule work programs with competing priorities to ensure the delivery of a high level of service
• Manage Contractors in relation to Projects ensuring completion of programs on time and within approved budgets
• Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and improve results
• Develop WHS systems and standards relating to open space maintenance and construction ensuring compliance against relevant Statutory Regulations. Role model these standards.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and seek opportunities to collaborate with other teams to support a positive cross team culture
• Respond and communicate effectively with our customers to efficiently resolve requests and contribute to a positive customer experience
• Utilise Council systems to deliver works and contribute to the Asset Management process
About you:
What you will bring to our team:
• Landscape Construction Certificate, relevant trade qualification or significant demonstrated relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience Supervising a large team on landscape construction projects
• Current Class C (minimum) drivers licence
• Ability to use computer-based systems.
• Well organised and good level of physical ability to carry out all the duties of the role safely
• Strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety
• General Worksite Induction Ticket
