Hourly Rate: $42.32 to $49.18 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + superannuation (subject to skills and experience)

The Environment & Open Space division is responsible for a range of functions which support the whole of Council to deliver high quality services to our Northern Beaches bush land, rural and coastal community. The Division comprises of the following business units - Environment & Climate and Waste Management.

Our opportunity :
The key focus areas of this role include: 
Responsible for the smooth delivery of waste removal services to customers including 
•    driving and operating waste collection, bin maintenance and delivery vehicles 
•    installation, maintenance and cleaning of public place bins and associated infrastructure
•    working either alone or as part of a work team
•    Ensures compliance with work regulations including wearing approved uniform and use of personal safety equipment.
•    Ensures tasks and schedules are completed to appropriate timeframes and standards
•    Ensures appropriate vehicle care, maintenance and reporting
•    Ensures timely and accurate reporting for the team as required by the Coordinator Litterbin Services
