Title: Coordinator, Volunteer Program Development, Permanent - Part-time Role, 28 hours per week
Salary Range: $89907.72 to $104487.69 (on a pro-rata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Coordinator Volunteer Program Development leads the implementation, ongoing review and improvement of the Volunteer Management Framework and collaborates with stakeholders to strengthen volunteering opportunities across the LGA.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Lead the implementation, ongoing review, and improvement of the Volunteer Management Framework to provide guidance and support across Council to ensure best practice for volunteer involvement.
2) Identify opportunities for continuous improvement aligned to the National Standards, including supporting the Council volunteer coordinators with effective practices, systems and resources for volunteer management.
3) Act as Council’s first point of contact for volunteers with general enquiries and support matching volunteers to volunteer opportunities across the organisation.
4) Deliver the annual Australia Day Awards program in line with the Community Service Awards Policy which recognises the contribution of community volunteers.
5) Collaborate with social service organisations operating on the Northern Beaches that provide volunteering opportunities to build their capacity, promote opportunities to community and support the coordination of volunteer resources to meet changing demand.
About you:
We’re looking for a dynamic and committed volunteer management professional to join our Social Planning and Services team. As the Coordinator Volunteer Program Development, you’ll bring knowledge and experience in volunteer management including: implementation of National Standards, delivering recognition programs, developing volunteer management policy and processes, and driving continuous improvement to enhance the volunteering experience, to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
